Description
Splendid Jaguar XK120 Roadster from 1950, "matching numbers", Pure, mythical, timeless.... with or without the "spats", first production car to reach 200 Km/ h This example is a true "early model", (Not the very first with the aluminium body) steel body with aluminium doors (bonnet, boot and doors) with the mechanical specifications of the first models, namely: - SU "long chimney" carburettors.
- Studless cylinder head at the front. - Hollow spark plug wells. - Unpainted raw aluminium cylinder head. - Mano fuel gauge with oil level dipstick in the sump... (which works) - Known history, only 2 owners, the last in Maryland (USA) had it for nearly 50 years. - Its American number plate present. (Restored in France in 2020 and 2021. (Invoices, photos to support) Driven regularly since. Body completely bare, there was no rust, (photos on request) renovated interior, new carpets, some parts re-chromed, mechanics revised. Absolutely everything on this vehicle is original, no improvements have been made. Rides incredibly well in this condition. Old English White, with burgundy leather interior, fitted with a soft top and side screens (removable windows). Rare XK120 in this condition. The photos speak for themselves. Complete file for obtaining a French "collection" vehicle registration document. I regularly drive with these Maryland oribin plates. Possible trade-in on collector vehicle. Visible in Antibes (06).
