Exceptional BX GTi from August 1986 (model 1987 XBEG), completely original with only 32, 700 kms on the clock. It has only had 2 owners. Taking over from the 'Sport' when the range was restyled in 1987, the BX GTi has a 1905 cc3 engine developing 125 bhp and 17. 8 mkg at 4, 500 rpm. Presented here in a Pearl Grey metallic colour, it has aluminium wheels (identical to those on the Sport), its small 'GTi' logo fixed to the rear quarter panel and its famous spoiler.
The underside is as good as new, with no trace of corrosion, as are the bodywork and the interior with its herringbone fabric, also as good as new, and its over-carpeting signed 'Aventure Citroën'. Everything is perfectly functional (EV, electric D-retro, AB, etc...) No costs to be expected, it has just been serviced and can cover any distance. Here is the work carried out over the last 2 years: 5 spheres, 2 front brake calipers, igniter head and finger, spark plugs and wiring harnesses, timing belt kit (belt + roller + water pump), clutch kit (belonged to an elderly person...), accessory belt, cold start system, 4 injectors overhauled, tank vent hose, DA hose, battery, 4 Michelin tyres, filters and fluid changes, injection and idle adjustment, permanent high performance air filter. It runs perfectly and the 125 bhp are very much in evidence... The latest CT is completely clean and will be re-passed for the sale, CG collection (therefore black plates). This is in fact a vehicle that is over 30 years old but as new! Ideal for an enthusiast of the make or model or of the GTi world.
