We are a team of friends, myself a retired sales executive, who decided to restore this marvel in its entirety, without any concern for making money. We spent hundreds of hours on this beauty, without looking at the expense. Every part has been cleaned, redone or changed. The interior comes from Newton Commercial, but the upholstery had to be fitted to the seats. The third is a body builder, he stripped the car bare before repainting it and so on... The result is all the more fabulous in that the car, which we have just finished, is available and visible near Clermont-Ferrand and has not been driven except for its adjustments: It's new from new, it's as if you'd gone to the dealership to pick it up 55 years ago.
Of course, I keep it to a minimum, to avoid damage to the machine, so every week it gets a few kilometres if the weather is fine. We found it difficult to set a price, as this object has no more value than a painting or a sculpture: it's unique. However, given the unparalleled quality of the restoration, we have set the value of this museum piece at 28900 euros. So come and pay this beauty a visit, and we'll discuss the price over a glass of gentian...
