Description
This is a very nice example of a 1976 Alfa Romeo 1300 Giulia Nuova Super. A complete restoration was carried out in 2013 on the underbody, side members, door sills and all body parts, making this a very sound car. The interior is partly original with a backrest and bench seat redone with period fabric to respect the authenticity of the car. The dashboard was fully restored by a saddler in 2023. The steering wheel and instruments are strictly original. It received a new paint job from its former coachbuilder owner.
On the engine side, during its restoration in 2013, the following components were inspected and changed: liners, pistons, piston rings, connecting rod bearings, engine mount and all gaskets. The alternator and starter motor were rebuilt (not changed). The clutch is new, as is the gearbox and gearbox mount.
The exhaust system and brake master cylinders are also new. The last complete overhaul was carried out in 2023, with an engine tune-up, valve and timing adjustment and replacement of the ignition system. On this occasion, Dell'orto carburettors were fitted to replace the original Weber ones. The car then took part in the Monte Carlo Rally with its current owner. A rare car, as it is very sound compared with other models on the market. Invoice file
