Description
BMW 2002 of 1975 evocation Alpina inspired of rallymen of the time in region Lyonnaise (I have the documents files of the time).
The base and the CG is a 2002 modified by a rallyman and mechanic in the 2010s:
- Engine changed to twin carburettors in the spirit of the TI version - Camshaft to favour filling at low revs, reworked suspension to limit body roll while retaining reasonable filtering (not dry on obstacles or rough roads) - 4-speed gearbox, presumably with the original gear ratio - no locking differential - free exhaust (no intermediate silencer) for a pleasant sound. This is a car equipped and tuned in a "rally touring" spirit (which it did with the previous owner, who designed it in that spirit), so it's not at a 'push-to-competition' level. Moreover, there is no roll bar and no FIA-approved equipment (including the fuel tank, which remains standard). * Overhaul carried out (Castrol oil change & Bosch filter, 4-piston front caliper reconditioned with brakes bled). I have only used it for touring (not and no longer the time for a rally-touring project) and for a property project, hence the reason for selling. Relevant questions welcome and make an offer if it arouses your interest. Best regards BMistes.
