Description
This Jaguar XK 140 roadster was delivered new in the USA in 1955 and arrived in France in 2011 after being acquired by its previous owner. It was fully restored between 2014 and 2018, with the body stripped bare, fully repaired and restored to its original Birch Grey colour. The engine has also been fully restored with the cylinder head rectified, valve guides and seats replaced, the original drum brakes at the rear have been restored and solid disc brakes with 4 piston calipers have been fitted new at the front. The upholstery has been fully restored with original Red leather and a Red Alpaca soft top.
Fitted with a Moto Lita steering wheel, chrome spoked wheels, Lucas long staves, stainless steel exhaust system, car radio and circuit breaker, this Jaguar XK 140 is accompanied by its FIVA identity card, Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and an extensive file of restoration invoices.
