This car was entirely restored with care, love and passion between 2015 and 2024 with the collaboration of professionals specialising in the restoration of classic vehicles. Car completely dismantled from A to Z, bare chassis to body sandblasted, treated primed and repainted in Old English White ... Chassis treated Epoxy paint (see photos) Treatment of all hollow bodies with wax All bearings, silents blocks and various rubbers replaced in new Suspensions: New rear spring leaves, new front and rear KONI shock absorbers Complete engine rebuild (block re-bored, new pistons, crankshaft checked, new bushes, new timing chains, oil pump etc...) cylinder head rectified valve guides replaced. Mileage approx. 900km (still running in) New electric wiring harness New front and rear windscreens Numerous comfort improvements were made during this restoration: -Improved disc braking system (pads, 4 pistons, bearings) with the installation of 4-piston calipers at the front -For my driving comfort, a Moss gearbox was replaced by a Borg Warner model 35 automatic gearbox (original XJ6), which is more powerful and smoother, coupled to a new balanced drive shaft.
