Motors Corner presents for sale this 2000 Alfa Romeo Giulia GT Veloce Coupé Bertone from 1974: History: Motors Corner presents this magnificent 2000 Alfa Romeo Giulia GT, better known as the "Bertone Coupé", because it was designed in the Bertone workshops by the young Giorgetto Giugiaro, who signed this work of art of car design at only 22 years of age. Our example has been in the hands of the same owner for 18 years, a passionate fan of the brand, who has restored and pampered it. Originally from France, the car is second-hand, with the rare option of Borletti air conditioning. Mechanical condition: The restoration of this Alfa Romeo GTV began in 2006, with a rebuild of the engine, then over the following years the owner took care of everything else, making certain elements more reliable, such as the installation of a 123 electronic ignition and a 75 twinspark starter. The carburettors are Dellorto 40F models that have been cleaned up. The wiring harness was modernised, with the installation of relays and a circuit breaker. The connecting rods, arms, tie rods and other similar components have been replaced. The rear deck has been sealed. The original Borletti air conditioning system has been modernised with a new compressor, condenser and hoses, while the evaporator is original.
Exterior condition: The bodywork was redone around ten years ago in the colour Giallo Ocra, the four wing sills were replaced and the windscreen was changed. The chrome is in good condition and shows well, the stainless steel bumpers have been polished and the grille is new. The door and window seals have been changed. The headlights have also been replaced. The wheels are 14-inch Momo Vega, fitted with Continental 185/ 70 R14 tyres, in perfect condition. A rare option on the 2-litre, the green tinted windows add an original touch. Interior condition: The entire interior is in very good condition. The rear upholstery is original, while the driver's seat was redone in 2006. The passenger seat needs to be replaced. The door interiors are also in very good condition. The roof lining was redone as original in 2009. The Alfa Romeo floor mats are present and in good condition. The dashboard is original (no cracks) and rear seat belts have been added.
