Hello, I am selling my mgb mk1 from january 1964. it is red with black leather interior. it has 4 chrome rims with spokes and a 5th painted in grey in the boot. the bodywork and chassis are in very good condition. no corrosion or rust. it is completely original except for the original Motolita wooden steering wheel.
It is all original except for the period Motolita wooden steering wheel. I have the original steering wheel in very good condition. The soft top is in perfect condition. It runs like clockwork and has just been serviced by an old car specialist in Clamart.
There were 4000€ worth of expenses: New engine mounts New heater tap New spark plugs and coil New spark plugs cluster New oil cooler New clutch New clutch belt and clutch emitter New carburettor float New carburettor adjustment New ignition kit New 7-seater propeller All fluids have been changed: Oil + filter, coolant, brake fluid It is in perfect condition. Everything works, both mechanically and electrically.
It passed the roadworthiness test without a hitch. There's nothing to report. It travels any distance without a hitch. I park it covered in my heated garage. I only take it out in good weather. I'm reluctantly parting with it. It can be seen in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
