1972 Ford RS 2600 Capri FIA Race Car
The Ford Capri RS2600 was made famous in the European Touring Car Championship by Drivers such as Jackie Stewart, Jochen Mass, and Klaus Ludwig, this stunning RS2600 has been built to the highest standards and has been used sparingly.
Built with a new Weslake 2600 engine producing approx. 330bhp, and mated to a new ZF 5 speed gearbox, this car is ideal for the best Historic Touring Car racing in the UK and Europe including Masters 70’s Celebration, Peter Auto Heritage Touring Cup, Motor Racing Legends Touring Cars, Iberian Touring Cars, HSCC and other national and international events such as Tour Britannia and Tour Auto. This car has completed only limited running since build – it has completed 2 race events and a handful of test days. Recently refreshed engine and rebuilt differential . Also complete with current (10 year) FIA HTP papers.
Finished in the iconic Bastos livery which is synonymous with touring car racing this car is not only eye-catching but also extremely competitive in HTC or Motor Racing Legends Racing.
