Description
1973 TRIUMPH TRIDENT T150 WITH MATCHING NUMBERS.
Here we have another timeless classic. This Trident T150 is in immaculate condition and comes with matching engine number and frame. We have included a Certificate of authenticity confirming a build date of the 14th November 1972. Essentially a 'Tiger-and-a-half', the Triumph and BSA 750 triples were launched in the UK in 1969, just in time to be up-staged by Honda's four-cylinder CB750. Differences between the Triumph Trident and BSA Rocket 3 were more than just cosmetic: the two models used different frames and in BSA guise the motor's cylinder block was inclined forwards. Only the Trident survived the Group's collapse in 1972, continuing as the T150V (with 5-speed gearbox) and later the T160 (using the BSA-type engine).
