Description
I am reluctantly selling my immaculate, fully restored 1971 Triumph T150 Trident.
I’m told the 71 is quite rare, with only about 1500 ever made.
This bike not only looks and sounds stunning, it runs and rides perfectly too. I would suggest this is probably the best example of the US spec T150 in the UK.
This gorgeous bike was subject to a nut & bolt restoration in the US in 2018 and had done just 50 miles post restoration when I imported it back to the UK.
I have covered just 1600 miles since then and, as a result, I’ve ironed out the inevitable teething problems encountered following a full restoration.
To be fair, the restoration was of such high quality, with all the leading experts in their field being used to carry out the work, very little has needed doing.
The paintwork was done to an amazing quality by Tim Rains of “Two Brothers Vintage Motorcycle Painting” in Oklahoma and the engine rebuild by John French a renowned bike restorer from Los Angeles. The only significant work I have carried out was to replace the Boyer electronic ignition with the far superior Tri-Spark system.
There is a file of invoices & some photographs detailing the restoration work which will come with the bike.
Clearly, no expense has been spared in getting this fabulous bike back to its former glory.
The photos really don’t do this lovely bike justice. I would strongly suggest anyone interested view the bike which is based in Lymm, Cheshire, just 5 minutes off the M6/ M56.
Please don’t waste your time & mine with silly offers. The bike has been valued by a classic bike dealer so I know the price is realistic for such a superb example.
