Description
With the introduction of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow at the end of 1965, the manufacturer of luxury cars entered the modern era. It took some time until a coupé and a convertible were on offer again. The automobile exhibition 1967 in Frankfurt (Germany) set the stage for the Drophead Coupé by Mulliner Park Ward. The convertible was 50% more expensive than the saloon as the construction time was about 6 months per vehicle. The success was huge. From 1971, the series got its own name: Corniche. It stayed on the market until 1985 and unbelievable total of 28 years! Around the world, this timeless convertible was always the center of attention.
Our RR Corniche was registered on July 22nd 1986 in Las Palmas (Spain) and thus has European specifications and (now) German papers. The luxury car is being completely overhauled. The painting in sage green metallic is bold, but captivating. The beautiful convertible is now ready and good to go. The low mileage of about 80, 000 km marks out the Corniche.
