This charming R Type Bentley is one of the very first cars built and was specially ordered by James Young for the 1952 Motorshow where Bentley launched the MK7 Type their new model. She is one of only 6 special bodied R Types built to this unique design and is one of the very first R Type chassis built and originally named MK7 as the very first cars were the model later being re named R Type.
She has a very extensive history portfolio from new including her original order when when ordered new! She has the benefit of extensive service and maintainaince works with large 3 box files of history documenting her low mileage, photographs and her original books and manuals too. This special bodied R Type Bentley has been a regular attendant at various Bentley rallies and events.
We have driven her over 130miles and she performs correctly with good oil pressure charge and contact cooling with a new Mot test.
This R Type has mot test and is Road Tax free.
