JAKE WRIGHT INDEPENDANT LAND ROVER SPECIALIST FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS OFFER FOR SALE-
1972 Land Rover Series 3 Airportable or Lightweight as they became commonly known.
This one is a land rover which we sold quite a few years ago and was later sold on by the owner to one of his near neighbours .
The last owner who we bought the land rover from was a retired gentleman and he carried out an extensive strip down and refurbishment of the vehicle with some help from his local garage when necessary .
This land rover Lightweight has had new rear chassis crossmember and outriggers as well as a host of other items and there is a comprehensive folder full of receipts.
A heritage certificate is also with the Land rover showing that it was built on 20th September 1972 and it was despatched to central army Vehicle depot , Hilton in Derbyshire .
As you will see from the pics the bodywork is excellent and all the panels are perfectly straight and a new coat of olive green paint has been applied .
This drives as well as it looks with no issues and this one has a 12 volt electrical system .
A new Exmoor canvas tilt was fitted and the vehicle has been dry stored with its previous owner as well as the last one .
As with all the vehicles that leave here they will all be serviced , workshop prepared, etc and will always leave here better than when they arrived !
