Description
We are pleased to offer for sale one of our latest, very light projects. We have said this before but this Mustang must be our lightest project this year.
She is a 1966 factory V8 auto, finished in Raven Black with a black pony interior. The dash is a GT-spec 5 dial with a wood finish to the glovebox door.
The gt theme is continued with a Shelby-style wood steering wheel. The interior itself is in great condition with no marks or tears anywhere. The carpet is also in great condition.
All clocks and gauges work just fine as do the lights indicators and horn.
Now to the exterior both back and front bumpers appear to be new with no sign of rust. In fact, all brightwork on the exterior is in great condition.
The paint is in very good condition with just a few stone chips on the driver’s door.
Now to the most important part of any mustang the underside. We have looked at the complete underside and can not find any rust anywhere.
The floor pans look to be the originals and have never been welded, both back and front frame rails are solid as are the drop-off panels in the trunk.
And finally, we move to the engine bay which I think speaks for itself. A recent customer at our premises looked at the engine and said, “has it been restored?” No, it’s just in unbelievable condition and has just been given a freshen-up.
While we are talking about the engine she has been upgraded to an A-code specification with a 4-barrel 600 CFM carburetor and inlet.
So is she a project? Well, we are selling her as one but we have no doubt that she is in better condition than some of the so-called turnkey cars being offered for sale.
The car comes fully registered with a UK V5C document.
All sensible offers are considered.
