The registration mark DOP 5C is original and issued in Birmingham where the car was first delivered to the Healey dealership ‘Patrick Motors Limited’.
From the outside DOP presents very smartly, with almost new paint (a full respray was carried out in 2021) with just a few hundred miles since. All trim was removed and there are a few photos from the paintjob in the large restoration history file. Chrome is generally in fair condition and the chrome wires are very good.
Inside DOP presents smartly and has clearly been looked after. The car has Black leather faced seats, Black carpet with Black edge binding and a walnut dash. The car comes provided with Black tonneau with easy release fixings and a Black hood bag.
DOP has been regularly serviced and is a very attractive car of unique specification, ready for the new owner to tour in. The car was first restored by Denis Welch Motorsport in 1988 and as such many improvements were worked into the structure and engine of the car which has been enhanced to a good fast road specification and unleaded converted. The car features the sensible option of a safety steering column.
