Description
This truly immaculate 308 GTSi was delivered new in the US in 1980. The car had three owners there before being purchased by a Dutch collector in 2016. All EU import taxes were paid, but since the car ended up in a collection and has been driven sporadically since, it still retains its original US registration papers. The 308 was never restored, has an accident-free history, and has been diligently maintained. This is evident from the extensive collection of invoices that have been preserved. The timing belt was last replaced at 60, 930 miles in 2013. Although there hasn't been much driving since, replacement of the timing belt due to aging is advised. The previous American owner, a former commander of the US Navy, attended many shows and exhibitions with his car, winning awards and honorable mentions, many of which were documented in photos. Apart from the pristine condition of this 308, the black/ red "EU interior" leather stands out – a rather rare and exquisite combination. The original toolkit and jack are present.
