After many many requests by folk who can't be bothered to come and look and fancied a free check without getting off the settee, Greta has been submitted for an MOT despite not needing it , so there you go she has one , first time , straight through
Meet Greta , Very Green and very Swedish , this old beauty really is a classic with great uses , Used by its previous owner to travel to the south of France this year and having just one previous owner prior , being a 1978 she's both Tax and MOT exempt which means you happily drive around London too without falling for the Ulez tax, driven home by me around 150 miles I absolutely loved it and I've been using it to do a bit of running about and I love it free from all the modern trappings of electronics etc this thing feels like it will go forever with just normal servicing and love , the autobox makes life so easy and given years ago it was considered a huge car its barely the size of a modern Mini so easy to live with modern traffic too , the interior feels very airy due to the amount of glass and you seem to have a load of vision , sure she's a little bit faded inside but certainly not worn out and has had a little paint over the years and has the odd blemish here and there but she's approaching 50 now so a little bit of make up surely is acceptable, but she looks great anyhow, engine is ridiculously smooth and quiet every thing works , not that there is a lot to break, oh I lie the rear wiper doesn't , so I think that's about it ,
the miles showing 49k but the miles have been stuck since a previous owner pressed the trip button , speedo works and I'm going to have a fiddle so add another 10k to be on safe side
I've a couple Volvos its sister from same year a saloon and a later estate , it just doesn't seem fair to ruin this one with the dogs etc even though i guess that was its intended use
Always gets a conversation started and gets admiring looks
