Description
After thirteen years, Jaguar needed a new, modern sports car. In March 1961 the new E-Type made a fantastic appearance at the Geneva Motor Show.
Almost ten years after its introduction, the Jaguar E-Type entered its final round with the Series 3 in 1971. And again the car made big headlines in the magazines, because under its longer hood now lay an almost silently operating V12 engine. The two-seater no longer existed and the roadster now stood on the long wheelbase of the 2+2.
This E-type from April 1972 was imported to the Netherlands from America in 2000. The car sits on classic 15-inch spoke rims with a central nut fitted with Pirelli P4000 tires.
