Description
The Triumph Motor Company went bankrupt in 1939. In 1944, the Standard Motor Company took over the rights to the name and, from 1953, built on the sporting successes of the pre-war period with the TR model series. It began with the TR 2 and the TR 3 and TR 4 models led to the TR 5 with the six-cylinder engine. The TR 5 Pi was the first British production car to be supplied with a Lucas fuel injection system. For export to the USA, there was the TR 250 with the significantly weaker carburettor engine. This makes the TR 5 Pi the sought-after variant, of which only 2, 947 were built.
Our Triumph TR 5 Pi Roadster is a left-hand drive model. The dark blue colour scheme suits it beautifully. The classic car was completely restored by a well-known Hamburg-based specialist company. It has been registered in Germany again since 2018. The agile roadster wants to be driven. Treat yourself to this driving pleasure!
