Description
January 1965 marked the beginning of the modern era for Rolls-Royce and Bentley. The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and its twin Bentley T 1 were designed to be self-supporting without a chassis. From April 1966 there was a coupé in the range, which Bentley called the Two Door Saloon. These beautiful coupés were largely built by hand at Mulliner Parkward. Only 99 examples of the Bentley Coupé were built.
Although our Bentley Two Door Saloon is a right-hand drive model, it was delivered in Switzerland with a Km-speedometer. The mileage must be very low, as the speedometer only shows 22, 300 kilometres. We think it could also be 122, 300 kilometres. The last owners are well known to us, the classic car was not lacking in care. The early example has the beautiful dashboard, finished in marvellous precious wood. The dark blue paintwork with the cognac leather interior is simply classy.
