very special car with some lovely mods, older resto, last owner for over25 years, and have just had some very informative info from the owner pre this who had it for 15 years complete with a photo! apparently left the uk in the 70's repatriated in 80's and enjoyed its original uk reg, stored away for many, now back in use, has a recorded mileage of 50, 000 which I consider to be correct when looking at such things as original trim, dash, s/ wheel etc, this car was set up to perform and handle properly a real drivers car, original engine and gearbox fully rebuilt previously, low miles since, it has on the motor a 4 Barrel Holley 600 on a Holley Street Dominator mani, tubular exhaust mani's, during the build it had a fast road cam fitted and solid lifters along with larger radiator this really has some serious grunt!, the drive train has the ultimate rear set up with a full IRS with inboard discs, LSD, 4 shocks, rose jointed stays (all Jag ) the front has uprated springs and spax adjustables, custom exhaust with a great V8 muscle growl, it also has full steel braided hosing for brakes, water, fuel with the lines inside, body appears standard apart from that lovely properly louvred bonnet (no silly bulges here) and to keep you in it has full harness belts, the car has a very good interior as shown, the paintwork is very nice the chrome shines but probably original, wheels are Wolfrace comp and have been on the car since the 80's , proper period wheels , underside. floors etc all strong and very good, hood is old but serviceable as is tonneau, all correct original chassis plate was blue when new, will need a good service/ set up due to storage but is on the button and runs/ drives very well, genuine enthusiast only , no dreamers thanks, remember this is not standard, price I think is very sensible considering how desirable these have become but I may consider a realistic P/ ex even one needing resto, or sensible offers, thanks.
