Hello and welcome to the sale of this stunning Honda Civic Type-R FN2. This is a very special example of this appreciating modern classic! This car has had just 3 owners from new, has covered 43k genuine miles and has been very well looked after with comprehensive service history to warrant the mileage. It also comes with the original book packs, two keys and still wears the last supplying main dealer's number plates. The very smart black exterior is in excellent, rust free condition, and as you can see in the photos, has just been professionally polished to a deep shine. The alcantara sports interior is also in excellent order with minimal wear, and I have gone to the additional lengths of fitting a brand new gear stick gaitor to finish it off. Under the bonnet was very clean and tidy, but as usual the rocker cover was suffering from the paint flaking off. To overcome this I have had the rocker cover professionally powder coated in the original 'crackle red' finish, and really does give it a lovely detailed look, where others may not have bothered. The 2. 0 Vtec petrol engine pulls very strongly and smoothly through the 6 speed gearbox. I have just had all 4 wheels professionally refurbished to the original finish, and it sits on 4 recent Goodyear tyres. The car starts, runs and drives very well with no apparent faults. It feels taught and direct on the road. To sum up this is a very genuine, well looked after example of this iconic hot hatch, they do not come up very often in this kind of condition or with this kind of provenance and I am sure the new owner will be very pleased.
