Description
We have a John Mossey Classic Norvin JMC 1000 in Touring or Semi-Touring trim to be absolutely correct. It has a 5 speed gearbox and Electric Start. It has the Manx Wide Line Featherbed Frame with the front and lower frame tubes removed. The motor is used as a stressed member which improves the handling. It is beautifully balanced and pops up onto its centre stand with minimum effort, quite remarkable for this type of motorcycle. We have all the 'Cafe Racer ' trim as well, clip on handlebars and the rear set footrest arrangements, so, depending on your mood, you can potter along or get your head down.
It was commissioned in 2005 by Mr Bo Svard, a Swedish motorcycle connoisseur and went straight to live in his significant collection in Scandinavia.
He specified the very best of everything.
The stand out parts which make this Norvin fairly unique are the super rare Smith-Kanrin front and rear brake drums laced up to the very best Exel RK Flanged Aluminium Rims. The wheels are quite simply a work of art. Don't even mention the price..........
The JMR warranty started on the 7th of December 2005.
It has since ended up in the ownership of a Mr Holt, a very well respected Vincent and, indeed, classic motorcycle authority.
Please study the photographs, paying extra attention to the fuel tank and its 'cooling ducts', once again quite a rare feature and do not hesitate to contact us for any further information that you may require. Thankyou very much for looking. If you think we have missed anything out, do call and put us straight.
We will consider anything of interest in part exchange.
