Description
In the summer of 1949, some Porsche employees began to set up a sports car production facility as subtenants at Reutter-Karosserie. The first coupés and convertibles of the Type 356 1100 with 40 hp were largely hand-built. With the Porsche 356 C, built from 1963 to 1966, the Type 356 was fully developed. A total of 76, 302 vehicles were produced.
According to the Certificate of Title, our Porsche 356 C 1600 Cabriolet was first registered in Arizona, USA, in April 1964 and has been registered with the current owner in Germany since 2015. A valuation report confirms the very good condition, especially the solid body structure. The classic car was repainted during the partial restoration. It is simply a pleasure to drive the historic cabriolet with its balanced 75 hp performance. You can still ‘feel’ the technology, a marvellous contrast to today’s modern super sports cars!
