GSX-R 1000 K1 was released in 2001 to replace the ageing GSX-R 1100
The new bike was lighter and more powerful than its predecessor with improved handling thanks to an all new frame and high quality suspension components
The new GSX-R 1000 finally dethroned the 1998 Yamaha R1 from the top of the superbike tree and ushered in a new era of high performance for Suzuki
This example is in clean, original and unmodified condition
The bike has been stored for a number of years but has a recent MOT and is confirmed running
