Here for sale is an incredibly rare, Alpina B3 Cabrio and believed to be 1 of 3 examples ever built with this exterior paint. This B3 features the fascinating Scrab green paint code which looks almost grey in darker light and under the sun it pops with green and purple in an almost flip effect. It’s stunning and genuinely makes a special car feel even more individual.
This B3 is number 118 as depicted by the Alpina plaque on the dash board which I believe to mean this was the first Alpina B3 cab to be made in Scarab green. The interior is in a fantastic spec too. The class combination of hell beige, wood trims and pops of the Alpina greens and Blues in the smaller details.
The car is also equipped with:
Harmon Kardon Hi-FiSat-nav/ TV
Heated electric front seats
Xenon headlights
The gorgeous Alpina multispoke wheels
Button shift on steering wheel
And many more refinements such as cruise control, electric roof etc etc.
The car looks to have been well taken care of over the year and presents in fantastic condition throughout.
Interior is in great condition, the wheels are mark free and the bodywork is lovely with minimal marks.
The car benefits from a recent MOT with no advisory items, recent service, just had a new MAF sensor and 4x Bridgestone tyres in good condition.
The car comes with the original Alpina book packs, service book and 2x keys.
The Alpina B3 is special with a bespoke 3. 3 engine derived from the S52 M3 E36 engine block giving the car a brisk and rev happy nature
‘Alpina increased the bore to 86. 4mm as well as a longer stroke (94mm). The cylinder head is tuned in traditional fashion as well a new exhaust manifold. Extremely light pistons as well as a newly developed crankshaft have been used in conjunction with a new torsional-vibration damper, sustaining permanent revs of up to 7200 rpm with ease. The engine produces 280 bhp at 6100 rpm and a torque of 335 Nm at 4300 rpm’ - alpina-archice. com
