Brakes - Non-servo split hydraulic system with Lotus/ AP Racing opposed piston calipers, new 282mm vented discs, Mintex pads and Goodridge braided hoses.
Suspension - Fully rebuilt suspension costing circa £2, 900, Independent upper and lower wishbones, Eibach springs and Bilstein racing dampers with lowering damper mounts 25mm/ 45mm.
Engine & Transmission
Transverse mid-mounted 4 cylinder water cooled 1. 8 16v high revving K-series engine, double overhead camshafts with hydraulic tappets, electronic fuel injection, 118 BHP @ 5500 RPM, 121. 8 lb-ft torque @ 3000 RPM and 0-60 in 5. 8 seconds.
The Lotus Elise proves less is more... weighing in at 690kg on the road she cannot fail to impress, smooth clutch, slick gear changes, exceptional handling and balance.
Sounds amazing through the stainless Janspeed exhaust system with Decat pipe (sports cat included), large throttle body and K&N Induction kit, improved throttle linkage, Magnate leads, uprated fuel pump, head gasket, water pump and cambelt changed 4k miles ago.
