Description
The most basic Ford in original condition with a documented mileage of 45k. Produced during post-war austerity, it is marvel of simple design and a pleasure to drive. The car was used mainly in the Manchester area and recently appeared in the film set of the Khan TV Series.
The bodywork and interior are in good original condition and underneath, bar a little surface rust, it is strong and tidy. There is virtually no chrome, the bumpers are correctly painted grey and the trafficators work well without needing the normal thump on the door post. The 1172cc side-valve engine is lively and the brakes are respectable. It comes with a set of tax discs and MoTs from the early 1980’s.
A charming Ford 103E for those wanting a nostalgia fix and the perfect antidote to modern gadget-clad vehicles.
