Description
Extremely Rare 1951 Lancia Aurelia B50 Stabilimenti Farina Coupe with Aluminum Body
This extremely rare 1951 Lancia Aurelia B50 Stabilimenti Farina Coupe is just out of a large European collection. Aluminum body except for the doors and outer rockers. The car is intact and the body has been sanded down. The chassis is very sound. The car is missing its grille, bumpers, and fuel tank. Everything else that's major is there. The car now has an excellent running B21 engine with no noise, smoke, leaks, or overheating issues. The transaxle is quiet and shifts with no grinding. The clutch works well. A complete new exhaust and a telescopic rear damper set-up has been installed. All 4 wheel cylinders are new and the master cylinder is rebuilt. The brake hoses are new. The engine mounts are new. Sump cleaned. Full lube service. Carburetor has been overhauled. New B24 tail lights. New battery. New battery cable. New oil gauge hose. New electric fuel pump. New water pump. New drive belt. New tie rod bushings. New inner drive joint boots and re-seal. Serviced steering box. The car runs well and drives. The interior parts are original. With only 4 coupes and 1 cabriolet known to still exist, this car deserves a full and proper restoration. An incredibly collectible and desirable Lancia. A rare opportunity indeed.
