Description
Introduced in 2003, the DB7 Zagato reignited the relationship between Aston Martin and Italian manufacturer Zagato, who began development of the iconic DB4 GT Zagato in 1961. This very special coupé was built as a strictly limited production run to just 99 units and was only available in UK, Europe and Southeast Asia.
The unique steel bodywork features a distinctive front grille and the typical Zagato “double bubble” roof line with sculpted rear window. The rear is completely unique, with round taillights and a suspended luggage compartment. Zagato 5-spoke alloy wheels and a unique Analine leather interior complete the striking look of this very special car. The DB7 Zagato accommodates a 440hp version of the DB7 GT engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and some other mechanical components have also been adapted: improved brakes and suspension and a higher differential ratio of 4. 09:1 was used to faster acceleration. The front and rear suspension uses aluminum double wishbones and coil springs with unique dampers for the model, designed to create a more driving-focused car.
This is unit number 44 of 99 and at only 9, 000 miles it is in immaculate collectible condition. It has all the details that will make the barometer of connoisseurs of exclusive parts skyrocket: personalized bodywork protection cover and driver's manual with the car number, scale model of the same configuration, official Aston Martin Lifestle leather jacket and historical dossier with details.
