Iconic, the 2CV still seduces with its simplicity and versatility, this small 4-seater Cabriolet smells of nostalgia. The car we are offering was registered on 28/ 08/ 1978. Its current owner now wishes to part with it and has entrusted it to us for sale. The paintwork was redone in 2019 and looks good, shiny and even. There are a few minor defects on the rear apron. The underbody is sound and the chassis is free of perforating corrosion. The chrome is in good condition and shines perfectly. The upholstery is very good, as is the soft top, and the interior is harmonious and tasteful.
The steering wheel is in good condition and the instrumentation is functional. Mechanically, the car starts easily, without noise or smoke, and has full power. The engine seems to come from a 2CV6 and has more power.
The gearbox is pleasant, guides well and does not stick . As for the running gear, the steering is pleasant and the braking balanced, the latter having been redone a few years ago . The 4 tyres have recently been replaced .
