For sale a pristine example of the rarest production Healey of them all – the 3000 MkII Two-Seater (BN7). The MkII BN7 cars are coveted for providing the most performance Healey would put in a two-seater production car, with a particularly smooth tri-carb setup. This fully matching numbers example 379 XWE was built on 30thJanuary 1962 for the USA market and has now been fully restored by a UK specialist and converted to right hand drive.
Freshly painted in Healey Blue Metallic with Ivory duotone, this stunning example sits on new factory-correct Aluminium Silver 60 Spoke centre lock wire wheels wrapped in Michelin XWS tyres. Restoration was comprehensive with the tub rotisserie painted from in Healey Blue with modern primers used for rust protection. Inside the car was fully retrimmed with all new panels, newly retrimmed seats and all new wet weather gear all in Navy Blue. The gauges are all originals refurbished.
The original numbers engine has been fully rebuilt to factory specification and painted in factory Steel Dust Grey (Green). The original tri-carb setup remains with the car but rebuilt. The gearbox has also been rebuilt to factory specifications and the car has been fully rewired with a new loom and replumbed with all new hard lines and soft lines.
