1988 Austin Mini 1000cc - Daily Driver, 12 Months MOT
Having had her engine professionally tuned by a well known engine tuning company, her power has been optimised. Combining this with her 600kg weight and that iconic, rally winning, classic Mini handling, gives you a terrific and/ or terrifying drive.
Being supplied with 12 months MOT with no advisories, fully and comprehensively serviced, she is ready to drive away.
I have been driving her as a daily driver and she is awesome. She starts first time, her engine is lovely and sweet, her gearbox smooth, all of her electronics work correctly.
Underneath she is solid and largely restored, her floors and subframes look almost new (see pictures), exactly what you want to see. One of her sills is new. A lot of her suspension and braking components look relatively new also, a lot of money has been invested within her recently.
Inside you fall into a 1980's time warp, she's very original. She has the factory additional extra rev gauge and sunroof. Her sunroof has been sealed shut.
She's in lovely condition but not brand new as you would expect at her age. Her interior map light isn't working and she has a small, standard, classic Mini oil drip, was you would expect. She is priced for the quick sale to raise funds so there is no negotiation on price.
Oh and she is HPI clear, no previous accidents or finance.
