Description
This is a very exciting and quick competition car. The body was fully restored by the previous owner some years ago and continues to be in good condition with a very attractive British Racing Green finish and yellow flash.
The car benfits from a competition engine (1310cc) including a Longman GT14 head and a single Weber carburettor. The gearbox is straight cut which makes for very positive operation. The current owner continued the improvement work by concentrating on the handling and steering. Many Rae Davis Racing competition parts were fitted including dampers, springs, anti-roll bar, steering box, suspension bushes. A 4. 55:1 limited slip differential is fitted making the car great fun to drive. New minilite style wheels and tyres.
Further competition features include a full roll cage, race seat and belts for the driver, plumbed in fire extinguisher and significant controls resited to a plinth for easy access by the driver.
A spare Slark Racing 1275cc engine is available for an additional £2500. This is an engine that was built for another race car and only has had about 4 hours use. It registered 120bhp on the Slark rolling road.
Please note that although the A30 is road legal (UK V5) and remarkably compliant on the road it is best suited to competition use especially rallying. It is loud, quick and always puts a grin on my face.
Note that the car is located in France (37600) and would need to be trailered away. Message me if you have any questions about taking a car back to the UK from Europe.
