Description
The Fulvia Coupé sees the light of day at the 1965 Geneva Motor Show, and is an outstanding sporting and commercial success. Lancia designer Piero Castagnero created a body with elegant, sleek lines and a bright, refined interior. The engine developed 79 IGM hp and reached a speed of 160 km/ h. Compared to the 2nd series saloon, the weight was significantly reduced, making acceleration much more brilliant, and the road behaviour denoted its distinct sporty vocation. This grew further when the HF version was launched in 1966, with the introduction among other things of two carburettors and further lightening of the bodywork. Of the first coupé version 20, 436 examples were produced, of the HF 435.
