Here we have an extremely rare Alfa finished in Bianco Gardenia which was part of a gentleman's private car collection in South Africa.
This beauty is fitted with a 1600cc from a 1963 Alfa Giulia Ti 1600. The original 1300cc head and block comes with the sale of the Alfa. (see photos).
We have the 'Certificato Di Origine' stating that the car was manufactured in 1961 an expedited to Johannesburg (South Africa) (see photo).
Being from a dry state the bodywork is in extremely good condition. The chrome and stainless steel are in excellent condition and the underside of the car is very solid (see photos).
There is a letter from the DVLA Liaison Officer from the Alfa Romeo owners club stating that the Alfa has the correct chassis number.
In the documentation file there papers from South Africa including log book, various export letters and tax discs to support the cars provenience.
The Alfa sits on the correct style wheels and hub caps together with four matching tyres.
The boot contains the jack, new boot liner and a new battery. As you can see from photos the engine bay is detailed, and has twin Weber carburettors which sound throaty, and the engine pulls extremely well through through all five gears.
The interior is a lovely place to be with the original steering wheel and controls. The seats and blue carpets are in excellent condition, as is the roof lining, together with superb door cards.
So here we have a lovely twin cam aluminium double overhead camshaft Alfa, which is a joy to drive, extremely rare and is offered at a very competitive price of £34, 991.
