Description
Garaged most of last 50 years.
3 owners - 7 years, 43 years, 7 years - son in law and me. Same classic experienced mechanic at least last 16 years.
Unmolested. No modifications apart from upgraded lights. Brand new battery.
New factory spec floorpan -2023.
Bodywork solid. Interior good - front seats need some restitching, no major rips. Rear seats very good. Headlining not ripped.
Tyres good. Bumpers a bit rusty around bolts but not too bad. Speedo/ odometer not working. Currently reads 84, 000.
Engine and brakes good, car starts and stops well!
Usable as is or a good basis for a renovation/ restoration. Reasonably priced to sell to a good home.
Overall, just an honest as it is 57 year old car!
LOTS OF OLD PAPERWORK INCLUDING ORIGINAL BUFF LOGBOOK, COUNTLESS MOTs, BILLS ETCBought with my son in law, he always wanted one! When he died, passed to me. My mechanic has looked after it for at least the last 16 years and always done what's been needed.
Reluctant to sell as it was special to my son in law but sadly doesn't get used enough now by me and I want to give it a good home.
Quite a rare but lovely little car that always attracts attention and admired at shows. Would be ideal first introduction for young person wanting an old classic without breaking the bank.
I'll be sorry to see it go but needs must.
