Very rare series 2 (Not a 2A), this is a later series 2 so has the 2250cc engine and not the Rover 2. 0 that was fitted to the early S2 and S1, not much difference to the 2A but has the distinctive round vent controls, I was told it had a new chassis and bulk head at some time but no proof of this, its had a very good restoration in the last 10 years to a high standard not a lash up, standard drum brakes which take a bit of getting used to and non synchro 1st to 2nd so you need to appreciate its age, I’ve grown up with Landrovers all my life as my late father used to restore them, I’ve hardly used it but looks great and its a very reluctant sale. Lots of receipts, I’m only the 3rd owner and the mileage could be correct.
