This car is involving and fun to drive with its combination of straight six engine and manual gearbox, it's in wonderful condition throughout and would make a fine addition to any collection. SPF 24M was manufactured on June 14th 1973 and first registered in the UK in October 1973. There are 7 previous keepers, and for over 20 years leading up to 2018 it was in dry storage where it was subsequently discovored by the owner of a BMW approved body shop. It was stripped back to reveal a "near perfect" body shell that was free of rust and previous welding. It was restored to a high standard to be part of the owners personal collection. The body and underside were finished to a very high standard in Fjord Blue, its original colour, paint code 037. There are no known faults, the electric windows all work well and there are no warning lights on the dashboard.
Mechanically everything is in good order, the car has been regularly maintained and the engine bay presents very well. a new Getrag 5 speed gearbox has been fitted, successfully making the car more relaxing to drive at speed. The original 4 speed box is available and included in the sale. Other features include a new stainless steel exhaust and period correct BBS Mahle alloy wheels with Falken tyres, all in good condition.
