Originally a coupe which had been converted before we purchased it 10 years ago. I replaced most of the lower sections of the car including the nose section. The rear lights had been cut out and fibre glassed over, I replaced this with replacement section from a later car. It also had a full re spray.
The engine is a reconditioned unit . I have fitted many new parts too many to list including a new interior, front disc brakes and new Fuchs Porsche wheels.
It just needs a few things finishing ie fitting the new hood ( I have the frame and new hood vinyl) also the paint could do with a good cut back and polish.
It runs well and all the electrics work. numerous receipts. We bought it as a way of getting a right hand drive karmann ghia convertible for an affordable price. It would make a fantastic car for someone as all the hard work is done!
