Owned for the last 30 years this car has had dry summer use only and stored in a heated garage during the winter. RHD UK car with all matching numbers and Heritage certificate. Restored in 1998 – engine re-built to fast road spec including high lift cam, gas flowed head, lightened flywheel and over bored block. Gearbox, diff and overdrive also re-built. Only 10, 000 miles since re-build. Body re-sprayed in original Emerald Green.
Other improvements include Kenlowe electric fan, rear telescopic damper conversion, electronic ignition, spin on oil filter and Green Stuff brake pads. Last serviced September 2023 and recent work includes track rod ends replaced and brake and clutch fluid replaced.
Condition of bodywork I would say is 95%, it has a few minor flaws and a 50mm scratch on the bonnet. Overall including interior and engine bay I think the condition is 85-90%. I have much history and photos of the re-spray, also most MOT certificates going back to the 1080s. This is not a show car but a very usable classic which is good fun to drive with the exhilarating performance. All the improvements which make the car more driveable are under the skin so as not to alter the original classic look of the TR6.
