YAMAHA TY 80 Big Wheel Trials
The bike many of us learnt on back in the 70’s & 80’s including my children.
It is still a respected learner machine capable of sections and hills that would surprise many. Check out the BBC KICKSTART programmes.
It has been stored for the last 22-24 yrs now, but after cleaning the fuel tank, tap and carburettor is a reliable and easy starter as it was back in the day.
The gearbox seal has been replaced as it leaked when first ridden recently.
As can be seen it is all there, albeit a little tatty in places, the chrome rims have suffered and the fuel tank needs attention,
However it runs and rides with all gears functioning and after some fettling will be a perfect introduction to the joy of motorcycling/ off-roading. Equally as these increasing in rarity and value, would make a great investment. Open to derious offersNostalgic and historic classic.
