Description
1983 Golf GTI, picked up as project, has had a lot of work done in the year since the purchase. Unfortunately I have lost the garage where it is stored hence this reluctant sale.
The engine runs well, new fuel pump fitted, new cam belt kit purchased. Body work has been repaired with new off-side front wing fitted, has been primed and is now ready to be painted. Most of the welding has been complete with a couple of small jobs remaining.
The car has an interior but requires restoration or replacement. Has a replacement hood which is in great condition.
With a bit of work this will be ready to impress. Photos show the car as it is which was with body repairs done and prepped for painting.
I believe the car is now Tax and MOT exempt, having passed 40 years in April 2024 although this needs to be confirmed.
