Description
A rare and charming 1946 Jaguar.
Not long had this, but struggling for storage so if your interested please get in touch, before I find another unit to tuck it away in!
V5 logbook in hand, 1 previous owner reccorded. Large history/ paperwork folder with an original manual too.
Previous owner had the car restored to where it is now, its a solid example, had a body-off paint job, has been reassembled 'loosely' pretty much all complete.
Engine looks good, will start and run/ drive with a battery fitted.
Brakes need going through.
Exhaust needs fitting.
Interior is in good shape, seats have been re-upholstered. There is new fabric here for the headlining and new carpet to be fitted.
Dash and trim, s all here complete.
Wheels all refurbished with new tyres fitted.
Boxes of spares all included.
Paint has suffered where its been in storage covered up, there are microblisters, marks etc. Looks very presentable from a few yards back, but up close is noticable.
My option would be to finish the car off over a couple of weekends of tinkering and use it, or alternativaly it would be a good base for a strip-down and a full show/ concours build.
Stunning car, not many of these made/ surviving today, one of the best shape/ models Jaguar made in my opinion!
Located Ware, Hertfordshire.
Viewings/ questions welcome, and delivery can be arranged anywhere in the UK at cose if required.
Thanks, Matt.
