Description
1964 Triumph Spitfire MK1 1147cc with overdrive, Signal Red with Black Mamba upholstery and Red factory hard top. This concours car first registered on 10th April 1964 was rescued in April 2019 and commissioned for a total restoration by a well-known prolific collector (the father of the British F1 seven times World Drivers Champion). The car was completed in December 2020 and displayed in his own private garage. A fantastic hardback book was produced during the rebuild, recording the whole process in words and pictures. The car has only covered 528 miles and runs and drives just as it did 60 years ago. It comes with a heritage certificate, original brochure, handbook, original green logbook and complete Triumph Workshop Manual. A black unused soft top is included. This is a reluctant sale due to health reasons. The Spitfire is ready to show or simply park in a private collection. This car is probably one of the finest MK1's still in existence.
