I have owned this car for the past 35 years and over this period of time it has been the subject of an extensive renovation. The chassis was shot blasted and painted, engine overhauled and converted to run on unleaded petrol. Much of the timber framework was replaced. The car has been fitted with a new wiring loom. All the chrome work has been replated. A new petrol tank has been fabricated in stainless steel. The stainless steel exhaust (P. D. Gough) carries a lifetime guarantee. The interior seats have been re-covered in leather and new carpets fitted. Additional flashing indicators have been fitted to supplement the working semaphore arms. The interior woodwork is in excellent condition. The general paintwork is good although there are a couple of areas that would benefit from a touch up.
I obtained the car with a mileage of 33000 on the odometer and 35 years later it now reads 38600 !!! During my ownership it has been 'dressed' and has proved to be a successful wedding car.
Included in the price is a whole host of spare parts, too numerous to list . The larger items include front axle, rear axle, gearbox, radiator, brakes and linkages, bonnet, steering column, doors, spare wheel cover, dynamo, starter motor and shock absorbers. I now need to clear my garage to concentrate on a new project. A stunning car that always attracts attention.
