Description
One owner from new apart from myself - I purchased this car last year after a lay up in a dry farm barn since 1983 - no welding carried out and requires no welding - original paint - lovely tan interior and leather is still nice and soft - majority of woodwork needs restoring - I put a new fuel pump on the car - cleaned out the carburettors - fitted new spark plugs and she fired up third turn of the key - no rattles no smoke and sounds very potent - she goes into drive and reverse nicely but no road test as the radiator is leaking badly in the bottom corner - all electrics work including all windows and even the number plate lamps - brakes will need servicing but the pedal is very good - I have realised that with the workload I have repairing classic Rolls Royce that I will never get around to bringing it back to its former glory - it requires some body repairs ( a crease in drivers door and a repaint ) there are many mk 10s for sale of which have been restored and packed with body filler and hidden poor repairs - with this car you can guarantee that everything is original and prime for restoration- car is firm at £4650 - the details below - ChrisWhen back on the road with either the current patina or respray etc it will look a very outstanding and impressive Jaguar
