Most notably is the fact that unlike other replicas, these cars have a body shape and panel gaps that are a fantastic likeness to that of an original car, and the quality of the fibreglass is superb.

This is extremely unusual as most 356 Speedster replicas are registered as Volkswagen.
Previously owned for 9 years by famous footballer.
MOT'd every year but hardly driven.

I bought this awesome car with the intention of taking it to the next level.
It's been pretty much unused for 9 years but kept in a dry garage.
It needs new wheels and tyres as the chrome on the wheels is pitted and the tyres are old...

That said, it runs very nicely as it is.
The 1600cc engine purrs and pulls well.
The gear change is crisp and sharp.
After an exhaustive hunt I bought a lovely pair of original 356 seats in tan leather from Lux Classics in Essex who restore 356's to a very high level.
I don't like the high back seats it arrived with.
It's slightly lowered, which I'm not keen on so I'd restore to normal height and fit new shock absorbers.
The soft top and side screens are like new.
I could press on and finish the styling exercise over the next few months or I could sell it as it is.
I've not seen a replica registered with DVLA as a Porsche before so it's very, very rare and you can say "Porsche" when someone asks what it is.
I'm looking for a serious offer from a serious buyer who appreciates that this is a unique opportunity to create something amazing.

There's no doubt that black is the best colour for a Speedster.
Steve McQueen's was black.
Lovely deep paintwork, albeit with the odd blemish/ mark from being in storage.
I'm looking for an offer around £35, 000 as it is to include the 356 seats (which were VERY expensive).
Currently at workshop of Porsche specialist ready to be inspected.
NB The isn't a restoration project.
Simply a car that needs finishing to the new owners specification.
